Extension of the DAkkS accreditation of the Höntzsch calibration laboratory to small volume flows

Our calibration laboratory has been accredited according to DIN EN ISO / IEC 17025:2018 since 2013 and has been accredited for the gas flow rate from 5 m³/h to 5’500 m³/h since 2015. The expansion of this area to include smaller flow rates is the logical continuation of our activities in the calibration laboratory, so that we can also offer accredited calibration from our in-house calibration laboratory for the entire portfolio of Höntzsch GmbH & Co. KG’s flow velocity and flow rate measuring devices.

With the extension of the accreditation for the gas flow rate or the volume of flowing gases, the range of 22 l/h to 5’500 m³/h can be covered with accredited calibrations with a smallest measurable measurement uncertainty of less than 0.39 % of the measured value. The mass of flowing gases can be calibrated in the range from 27.5 g/h to 6’000 kg/h with the same smallest measurable measurement uncertainty on our test stands, AVP (atmospheric volume flow test stand) or the new DVP (nozzle volume flow test stand). The exact measuring ranges can be found in the annex to our accreditation certificate.

With our additional accreditation for the flow velocities of gases in the range 0.1 m/s to 70 m/s and a smallest specifiable measurement uncertainty of up to 0.5 %, from now on all Höntzsch measuring devices can be DAkkS-calibrated in our own calibration laboratory.
