Höntzsch supporting the environment one bikeride at a time – making 2nd place at „stadtradeln“ (city biking)
In 2008 Germany‘s climate alliance invited everyone to get on their bikes to reduce carbon emissions – a now yearly event called „Stadtradeln“.
From 21.06. to 11.07.2020 our employees hopped on their bikes and all together completed 3,423 km which equals a total of 503 kg CO² and an average about 311km/42.72 kg CO² per employee! It put Höntzsch in second place of the category „most km per participant“! We’re really happy about our success and will continue to leave our cars at home every now and then and instead ride our bikes to work.
