New Ex-transducer technology for multigas applications, WLAN and bus interfaces – randomly configurable as required.

For decades Höntzsch has been applying thermal flow measuring sensors successfully based on thin film sensor technology according to the heat transfer process to consumption rate- and leakage measurings in many fields of application.

Whether your focus is on operation / control measurement or energy management according to ISO 50001, thermal flow measuring sensors TA10 and TA-Di convince with precision, long-term stability and efficiency. For highest accuracy requirements the sensors can be calibrated with real gas in our own ISO 17025 DAkkS calibration laboratory. In the new generation of sensors the same device can be used for a variety of gases in explosive atmospheres regarding category 3G and 3D (zone 2 and 22) without the need of a recalibration or return to the manufacturer. It offers the possibility of only using one basic instrument for different applications or to keep on stock. Results in flexibility and added value will show i.e. in welding plants, burner installations, laser cutting machines or in energy and consumption monitoring. A variety of gases such as air, compressed air, oxygen, nitrogen, carbon dioxide, argon, natural gas, methane, tracergases, hydrogen, helium, landfill- and biogas can be either selected through buttons on the display or through a WiFi  access point and the matching device can be configured within seconds. A rotatable and swiveling round antenna ensures ideal reception – IEEE 802.11/b/g/n (2,4 GHZ) – works either as a separate hot spot or for implementation into a wireless network. Besides the parameterization, the measured values and the trend chart can be displayed with the integrated web interface.

Alternatively to the analog outputs and a quantity signal there is also an option for different bus systems (i. e. M-Bus, IO link, Modbus, …)
