Our trainee has successfully completed her apprenticeship as office administrator. She received a prize from the Training College in Waiblingen for achieving an above average grade of 1.3 in her final examination. We congratulate her on this outstanding achievement and are more than pleased to welcome her to Höntzsch as a new member of staff!

The ACHEMA 2015 closed its doors to the public on Friday, 19th June 2015, after five eventful days in Frankfurt. Visitor attendance exceeded the 166,000 mark and 3,813 exhibitors from the chemicals, pharmaceutical and food industries were represented.

Höntzsch thermal flow sensors TA10 ... ZG2b and TA Di ... are now available with M-Bus technology.

With the new standardized interface our thermal flow sensors for compressed air and ultra-pure gases can now be easily connected to already available consumption data loggers via M-Bus.

At the recent meeting of the expert panel for "Strömungsmessgrößen" (flow measured variables) of the German Calibration Service (DKD), Höntzsch was represented by Dr. Arne Taube. An intercomparison programme for all calibration laboratories in Germany accredited for measuring flow velocities, was initiated. First results are expected in the final quarter of this year.
